Teen's leg broken in door slam attack

A 16-YEAR-OLD boy had his leg broken when a car door was slammed shut on it during a fight in Trowbridge.

The boy, who is from Trowbridge, broke his fibular and tibia in an altercation between two groups in the Spitfire Retail Park in Bradley Road last Thursday.

The attack happened in broad daylight at 3.25pm. Police believe there was an altercation at the Texaco petrol station in Bythesea Road, which continued at the retail park.

They have arrested a 19-year-old man from Frome on suspicion of assault and are looking for two other men, also from Frome.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the assault or the group in the petrol station to contact Det Sgt Pete Auburn at Trowbridge CID on 0845 408 7000.

Well he won't do that again I suspect.

Often people only learn through consequences. Next time he might get in his car and drive away?

Who? The 16 year old - I would hope he wouldn't DRIVE his car away - he shouldn't have one!
