Saturday date for AFC Calne and North Bradley

NORTH Bradley make the long trek to Avebury tomorrow morning to take on AFC Calne just 24 hours before they face British Lion in their final match of the season on Sunday.

Bradley were scheduled to play AFC Calne last weekend but a shortage of players forced them to postpone the match.

AFC Calne, who were in action on Thursday night when they were beaten 4-1 Coyote, will be well up for the game, but if Bradley can get 11 players to travel then they could upset the odds as they did when they defeated Rowde 5-3 just 12 days ago.

When AFC Calne visited Bradley in February they took the spoils courtesy of a 4-0 success that saw Simon Dance and Dean Fry score two goals apiece.

AFC Calne, who have been up and down over the past month, will just be happy to get the match played and if they can produce their better form then they should complete a league double over Bradley who have lost six games on the spin and who are unlikely to win another game this season unless they can find a reversal in fortunes.

North Bradley's management team of Damon Berrelly and Tim Richards won't know who will turn up, but if the likes of Ryan and Kieran Baggs are available it will give them some firepower in front of goal which will be desperately needed if they are to end their away day blues. They have only won one from 10 games on the road this season and that was against basement side Christian Malford.

The match should result in a win for the home team but if a good Bradley side turns up at Avebury then they might just get a point from a game.

AFC Calne might be forgiven for thinking they are playing Coyote again as the Trowbridge side's manager Chris Carr is likely to feature as a player for Bradley.
